Prince Innocent Eleogu Care Foundation Identifies With The Family Of Osinachi Over Return Of Abducted Children
In the spirit of Onye ahala nwa nne ya (Being your brothers’ keeper), the Prince Innocent Eleogu Care Foundation has paid a visit to the Family of Osinachi of Amaoba Ime Oboro, in Ikwuano LGA of Abia state over the return of two out of their three abducted children.
It will be recalled that the three siblings were kidnapped by an unknown motorcyclist on their way back from school some weeks ago. However, two out of the three abducted siblings have been rescued and handed back to the parents, while efforts are ongoing to free the remaining one from the hands of the kidnappers.
Speaking during the visit, Prince Innocent Eleogu (Founder Innocent Eleogu Care Foundation), in company of other leaders of the Foundation, thanked God for the protection of the children while in the hands of their abductors.
Prince Eleogu thanked the state Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, the Mayor of Ikwuano LGA, Comrade Osinachi Nwaka, Security agents and other state actors for their swift reactions in freeing the abducted Children.
He advised parents to be mindful of how they expose their children and wards to unknown individuals, especially at this time when security is standing on a precipice across the nation.
Princ Eleogu encouraged Mr. Osinachi and family while expressing optimism in the return of their remaining child.
In his contribution, the national coordinator of the Foundation, Henry Eleogu thanked God for the return of the children, stressing the need for the visit.
The coordinator, while donating a cash gift to the family on behalf of the Foundation, said that the Foundation is out to support the government of the day to improve on the lives of the people, especially the rural dwellers with no or meager means of livelihood.
Adding that the Foundation, within its short time of coming to the public space has covered the 63 primary schools in Ikwuano where all the students and teachers in each of the schools were supported with education materials.
Pointing out that most secondary school students have also received financial support from the foundation while some of their university counterparts are already beneficiaries of the Foundation’s full scholarship scheme.
He said that the Foundation, beyond their intervention in the area of education, has also empowered so many indigent parents to enable them find legitimate means of livelihood.
Among those who were part of the visit include the National secretary of the Foundation, Mr. Sunny Ukpabi.
